# Form Settings (post context)

The form-wide settings in the Form tab of the form editor.

Form settings apply to the whole form, not to one field. To see them, open the form in the editor and select the **Form** tab in the settings sidebar. If a block is selected, the sidebar shows the **Block** tab instead: click **Form** to switch.

### General

**Description**: a free text field to describe the form.

### Submit Actions

The actions to run when the form is submitted, like sending an email or saving the submission. Actions run in order from top to bottom. See [Submit Actions](https://kb.craftformswp.com/documentation/form-building/create-form/form-settings-post-context/submit-actions).

### After Submission

**Redirect URL**: send the visitor to this page after a successful submission. Leave it empty to show the notification message instead. You can insert submitted values, like `https://example.com/thank-you?email={{field.email}}`.

### Field Conditions `PRO`

Show, hide or disable fields, elements or single choices based on other field values. See [Field Conditions](https://kb.craftformswp.com/documentation/form-building/create-form/form-settings-post-context/field-conditions).

### Field Links `PRO`

Change a field automatically when another one changes, like setting "Check-out" to the day after "Check-in". See [Field Links](/documentation/form-building/create-form/form-settings-post-context/field-links.md).

### Smart Variables `PRO`

Name a value once and reuse it in prices and messages. The **Manage Smart Variables** button opens the [Smart Variables](https://kb.craftformswp.com/documentation/form-building/create-form/form-settings-post-context/smart-variables) manager.

### Pricing `PRO`

Calculate a total from the visitor's choices. The result is available as `{{price}}`. **Build price from options** sets up a formula from your option prices, and **Manage Price Formula** opens the formula editor. ### Starters & Import

**Choose starter or import** opens the **Choose a starter** window. Pick a ready-made form to start from, or click **Import from file** to import a form you exported.

Agencies and hosts can add their own starters to this window from a folder outside the plugin. See [Your Own Starters](/documentation/for-developers/your-own-starters.md).

### Track Submissions

Send an event to Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 each time the form is submitted successfully. Tracking is on by default. See [Track Submissions](https://kb.craftformswp.com/documentation/form-building/create-form/form-settings-post-context/analytics).

### Export

**Export Form** downloads the form as a single file, with all its fields and settings, so you can import it on another site.

### Form CSS

Custom CSS for this form only. Every selector is scoped to the form, so it can't affect the rest of the page, and the styles travel with the form when you embed it on another website. ### Advanced Settings

Shows the form's submission URL. **Configure Submission Settings** `PRO` lets you rename the form's REST endpoint and accept submissions from other websites and apps, for example to [use the form on a static site](https://craftformswp.com/use-wordpress-as-a-locked-down-form-backend-for-static-sites/).
