# Form Submissions

Table of form submissions.

Whenever we use [submit action "Save Submission"](/documentation/form-building/create-form/form-settings-post-context/submit-actions.md) for a form, then the data submitted in this form will create a new record in the table of submissions with all the data defined in this form. New items in the table are highlighted in yellow. Example:

<figure><img src="https://97821998-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FM2yV1foUgoGHBC66VBDw%2Fuploads%2FbCxyLXoQKThwKoHoMsNn%2FSCR-20260506-jvkn.png?alt=media&amp;token=855313f3-7787-4678-adf7-9cb38ee5a91c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This fragment of video shows what are Form Submissions and how they are used:\
<https://youtu.be/TmL0vTeR2M4?t=1992>

The table shows these columns: ID, created/submission date, form name (reference to the form submitted), referer/url (reference to the page where this form was submitted) and actions.

Clicking on the "eye" icon opens a modal window with the form submission details, it looks like this:

<figure><img src="https://97821998-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FM2yV1foUgoGHBC66VBDw%2Fuploads%2Fk57x3euvjqnfVA9LPbtr%2FSCR-20260506-jviq.png?alt=media&amp;token=599310ce-520b-48ff-8214-e7fae60eb00f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

So, all the data submitted in the form will be here. Optional form fields which are submitted empty will be excluded from this view. Upon opening the details this records will be automatically marked as "read". It is possible to mark it "unread" by switching "Mark unread" switch box.

Each submission captures an additional service data, it can be viewed by clicking on "Form submission metadata" box/button. This is the example of data shown there:

### Advanced submission data

This is the PRO version functionality of the plugin.

**When the form that is being submitted uses** [**price calculation functionality**](/documentation/form-building/create-form/form-settings-post-context/price-formula.md)**, then the form submission items details will show the price calculated.** Example:

<figure><img src="https://97821998-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FM2yV1foUgoGHBC66VBDw%2Fuploads%2FdEzPTSUD03BgbooQFPIW%2FSCR-20260506-kbti.png?alt=media&amp;token=0fa69d38-5a08-4252-a6b4-fd32017f7187" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The price will be shown in the head of the details modal window, next to form submission's ID. The reason it works this way is a part of concept of "light ecommerce". Which means that we do not create [catalog items](/documentation/ecommerce/catalog.md) and do not connect them to our form. "Light ecommerce" is about capturing inquiries from users and potential customers without creating [orders](/documentation/ecommerce/orders.md), without taking care of stock management or booking availability etc.
