# Use Form

[Once your form is published](/documentation/form-building/create-form.md), it's ready to be placed anywhere on your WordPress site. Craft Forms works natively with the **WordPress block editor (Gutenberg)** — there's no shortcode, no PHP snippet needed. Your form is saved as a **synced pattern** and inserted as a block.

#### The Forms Table — Your Form Overview

Before embedding, head to **CraftForms → Forms** in your WordPress admin. Here you'll find the **Form Management** table, which gives you a quick overview of all your forms:

| Column           | What it shows                                    |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| **ID**           | Unique form identifier                           |
| **Title** | Your form's name (click to edit) |
| **Description**  | Optional description                             |
| **Status**       | Published or Draft                               |
| **Used In** | Pages/posts where the form is currently embedded |
| **Actions Used** | Configured submit actions (e.g. Save Submission) |
| **Author** | Who created the form |
| **Actions** | Edit or delete the form |

> 💡 The **"Used In"** column will update automatically once you embed the form on a page — a handy way to track where each form appears across your site.

#### Step 1 — Open the Page in the Block Editor

Navigate to the page or post where you want to display the form and open it in the WordPress editor.

***

#### Step 2 — Insert the Form Block via the Slash Command

Click in the content area where you'd like the form to appear, then type:

```
/cra
```

A context menu will appear showing **CraftForms forms as synced patterns**. Select your form — for example, **"CraftForms: Contact Form"** — and it will be inserted directly into the page.

#### Step 3 — Save the Page

Click **Save** (or **Update**) in the top-right corner. That's it — your form is now live on the page.

"Used In" column is updated for my form - now it shows the link to page where it is used:

#### What You'll See in the Editor

Once inserted, the form renders as a full block preview inside the editor, showing all fields exactly as visitors will see them (Name, Email, Message, Submit, etc.). In the **Block panel** on the right, you'll see the label **"CraftForms: Contact Form". This is a synced pattern created automatically and is always connected to your form.**
